2000Pro-Panasonic KX-P2023 problems

I normally use a Canon Multipass530, however I've had a
Panasonic KX-P2023 like new sitting around, so I
disconnected the canon and hooked it up. I rebooted the
machine, used "Add Printer Wizard", followed the suggested
prompts and my Pansonic CR started to print over and over
on the same line. So, downloaded from Pansonic's web
site, the latest driver listed for Windows 95 &
98, during install at very end, I receive error - "Printer
Drivers was not installed. Operation cound not be
completed." Any suggestions? Thank You in advance for
your assistance!!!
