2000 Pro Connection Limitation Issue

Server : DC:2000 Server Sp3
Client : Mixed 2000 / 95 /98

We have a 2000 Pro system with a shared directory accessed by a number of
pc's using "net use" to map the drive.
However, we are getting :-

"No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time
because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept"
Re Microsoft : Q122920

We did not have this problem when the pc was running Windows 98 , does
anybody know a workaround or registry change for this.

No. Win2K Pro is limited to 10 concurrent connections.

Simple solution....Put the shared folder on the Domain
Controller where it belongs....share it to the
appropriate users. No more limit to the 10 connections
of the 2Kpro box.
