2000 group policy on NT4 domain?

I'm wanting to see if it's possible to run 2000 Server
policies (because they can lock down so specifically)
while still running a NT4 domain (PDC and BDC). If this
isn't possible, is there a good 3rd party tool for this?
I'd like to run the policies from a server and not
individual software installations on over 100 PCs. Thanks!

You can not use group policy on a NT 4.0 domain. You would use poledit for
pre Win 2k clients and local policies for Win 2k and XP clients.

I don't know of a third party app that would apply group policy in a non AD
environment.
