2 USB printers on a single XP Pro PC

Mark

Is there a problem having two printers connected by USB
1.1 or 2.0 to the same XP Pro machine? I seem to have had
intermittent problems getting the printers online.

I need to know if this will cause any problems or if I'm
wasting my time.

Thanks

There shouldn't be.... however there can be a few side issues here...

Usually it's to do with your PSU (power supply unit) in the PC.... the PSU
supplies power to the USB ports....

Either the PSU wattage is insufficient and/or the PC is set to turn off
power to the USB ports when they are not being used..... to ensure this
option isn't the cause of your problem, go into the Device Manager, find the
USB Controllers, right click and select Properties and see the Power
Management option.
