2 sided printing on 7410

There are numerous comments about there being a driver problem with the
officejet 7410 when trying to print 2 sided documents. It appears to me that
it is trying to print in the manual mode. Has Msft done anything to fix this
driver. The comments I saw were from back in Februaury.

It isn't Microsoft' job to fix HP's driver. You question should be
directed to HP.

Did you check on HP's site? There are apparently drivers dated 3/07 for
both 32 and 64-bit Vista:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=391194&lang=en

I have no idea if these drivers include the ability to do double-sided
printing - and that ability is a function of the drivers, not the
operating system - you should check with HP on that.

Hi,

I just found your posting. I'm having the exact same problems with
Windows Vista and an HP 7410. What is the 'developer fixed driver',
and where can I get it?

Thanks,
Dave

HP support knows about this issue. If they aren't handing out the fix yet,
you can get the HP developer fixed driver from me.
