2 Printers Installed

I am having trouble with multiple printers showing up in
my printers folder.

I have installed my HP Deskjet 940 without issues. But
when I reboot it installs another copy of the same
printer. I delete the copy and it is reinstalled after
the next reboot. I then changed the default to the copy,
deleted the original, and then it is again installed on
the next reboot. It seems to "Need" two copies to be
happy.

I searced this forum and found an entry telling another
person to change the LPT settings to EPP. I did that and
got no joy. What else could this be? TIA

Change the LPT port settings in the BIOS to read EPP.
