How to delete windows 2000?

1. Launch WinXP
2. Rename c:\WinNT to c:\WinNT.2000
3. Wait a week
4. If all is well then delete c:\WinNT.2000
5. Run this command: notepad c:\boot.ini
6. Set the default to WinXP and delete the reference to Win2000.
7. Save & exit.

You still have duplicate Program Files? You will also have many other
associated files to Win2000. The best option would be to format the drive
and install XP again.
