When exporting Outlook 2003 contacts to a .csv file, multiple lines in the
contact's Street Address cause a little square to appear in the cell next to
the first line. The problem appears to be caused by the hard return used when
creating line 2 in the Outlook contact's street address. I'm trying to make
a mailing list of about 2,000 addresses and this is really wreaking havoc.
Does anyone know how to deal with this? Exporting to a .xls causes a similar
problem when a hard return is used in a street address.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Tim

Addresses in Outlook are composed of a sum of its parts (i.e. street, state,
country etc) and when exported are exported as a single field with line
breaks in the address field (which is valid when using an address for a mail
merge but may not be valid for other uses). Outlook does not export the
individual fields.

Why do you feel you need to export to create a mailing list? I can't think
of any reason for you to be changing file formats.
