2 items in recycle bin will not delete.

Each time I try to permanently delete them from the recycle bin, I get the
"illegal operation" message and the program closes down. This becomes a
vicious circle. These two items are highlighted. I am having to delete each
of hundreds of messages in the recycle bin individually. Because of these
two items, I can't ask for all to be deleted permanently. Please help!!!

Choose Work Offline in Outlook. The try to delete the
messages. Puzzled by the term "Recycle bin?" Outlook uses
"Deleted Items."
