2 IP Router Configurations - DNS Requests

John Dempsey

Configuration is: Two networks on AD not trusted.
10.0.0.x
255.255.255.0
and
20.0.0.x
255.255.255.0
The AD is the 1 in both domains. The '10.0.0.x' network is connected
to the internet via ISA and out through a router IP. The 20.0.0.x is
not on the same domain, but I want to route it out that way. What
config should the cards be to make this successful. I have read so
many books and articles I am now confused and wondered if there is
anyone to help me. What I need to know is the ethernet card
configurations for PC's and servers. And the DNS servers, which one
does the internet config. If you would like a diagram sent to you them
email me and I will happily send across.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers John

You may have big problems caused by the use of a public addressing scheme
20.0.0.x belongs to someone and is routable on the internet. Unless it is
you that owns the IP you need to change the IP addresses.
