2 boot drives

Can I have 2 drives as bootable?what I'd like to do is
have a drive say c: for the kids accounts, and D: for my
things.I've upgraded to a 120 gig HD that everything is
on now.My old 30 gig is out.Can I put it in,leave it as a
bootable,having 2 bootable drives,120 + 30,having to
choose which drive I'd like to use? Also if I use it that
way will it not be in use when other users are loged onto
the computer,IE being able to access it from drive C: ?

Why not go to control panel>user accounts and set up an
account for your kid and if he wants to down load
something have him put it on the 30gig. You might need
separate license for what you want to do? You also could
partition the 120(one for the kids)as a second drive.
....Good luck.

thats how I have it now,I keep getting viruses from the
kids games,I was tring to get away from viruses on a
drive where my banking things are stored.I had a key
stroke recorder sending out info,my spythingy caught it
just in time.If I could use a different drive would be
better.Just didn't want to go in blind, get it to burn up
tring 2 drives as boot.Guess I'll give it a try.Let you-
all know if it works.

If you're wanting to boot from two drives, and viruses are a concern, I
would use removable hard drives, the kits are available from a number of
different places to turn your existing standard size hard drive into a
removable disk that can be installed in a full size drive bay on the front
of your computer. Viruses would still concern me if I the hard drive I was
worried about were still physically installed in the machine.

Just a thought...
