Good day
We have a network at work, with one server running on 2003, We have 8
Desktops running on XP, up to now the networking was perfect. Then the boss
got a new Sony Vaio with Vista Business on it.
I have changed the domain name on the Vista so that it is the same as all
the other pc's. The Laptop does connect to the internet with the lan cable.
The problem is if I open the network on the Vista laptop then it only shows
the laptop. It does not show any of the other pc's. And it cant find any
network printers, eventhough we have about 6 network printers being used by
the rest of the desktops running on XP.
Even waiting for 15 minutes like one of your posts suggested does not help.
I phoned Microsorf and because it is an OEM version they say I sould phone
Sony, which I did and Sony said they cant help me. This is why I am asking on
here now
