16 bit windows subsystem

each time i try to reload an old game (i.e. half life or delta force 2) that
i have played before on my computer i get this message

c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. this file system is not suitable for
running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications

the program does not load, even through in the past both games have been
loaded and played on my computer with in the last 4 months
PLEASE HELP

Hello. Inside c:\windows\repair there should be a file called autoexec.nt
copy it from that location to c:\windows\system32\

If there isn't an autoexec.nt there you can download one from
http://www.windowsresource.net/downloads/AUTOEXEC.NT
