When trying to set up an older disk for my kids i keep getting the same error

16 bit windows subsystem

c:\Windows\system32\Autoexe.nt The system file is not suitable for MS-DOS
and windows applications. These discs always worked before I upgarded to XP
home

Any suggestions on how to get these to work?

Hello, copy autoexec.nt from c:\windows\repair to c:\windows\system32.

If there's no autoexec.nt in that folder you can download from
http://www.windowsresource.net/downloads/AUTOEXEC.NT

Funky video how-to here: http://www.windowsresource.net/videos/autoexec.wmv
