1265 NTDS KCC

I am getting a 1265 event ID saying the NTDS KCC cant run
because of a DNS error I am not getting any errors in my
DNS log. Any ideas?

As well No help in the sea of MS KB articles

What is the exact error you are getting? I assume the exact error you're
seeing is: "The DSA operation is unable to proceed because of a DNS lookup
failure." - is that correct?

Some information about your AD environment would be helpful - is this
occuring between parent/child domain, DCs in different sites, etc? Is dns
pointing to internal dns servers only? If this is a parent/child domain,
are the child domain controllers pointing to dns servers in their own
domain and forwarding requests up to the parent with the parent pointing to
dns servers within its own domain and delegating down to the child?
