Hi,

I use WinXP, two user profiles (one local profile and one logged
domain), but when I log in as a local user the computer still in
domain.
Is possible ,when I log in computer as local user, then computer
become a member of my workgrup and when a log in as domain user i
still in domain.

Thanks in advance,

Jamie

It's a lot simpler than that. Just always use your domain login, even when
away from your office network - you can do so as it will have cached your
credentials.

You can still access workgroup resources by providing the appropriate
credentials on the computer you're trying to connect to -

net use x: \\computername\sharename /user:computername\username

or in Windows Explorer, tools, map network drive, provide different
credentials.

You don't really want to use a local login account as it will be different
from your domain profile, and there's no need for it. I'd get rid of the
local account (unless you're using Administrator). Your computer will always
belong to the domain - if you change it to a workgroup, you'll lose your
domain login and profile, need to take it back to the office and beg the
sysadmin to re-add it, and like I said, you don't need to do this anyway.

The short answer is no it is not possible, you are eaiter
a member of a domain or a member of a workgroup not
both. However other person who replied is right,
although you are still a member of the domain you should
still be able to access the resources of the work group.
