Zoomed in Playing mode

When i try toplay a movie in Media player or in any other
player it seems that it is zoomed in to the centre of the
film.I followed a suggestion listed in this forum but
that has only helped to solve only a problem in Media
player.I cannot watch VCD or DVDs as the zom effect
returns.Any sugesstions pls send email to
