Crash and Burn

I am running Zone Alarm Suite 4 and XP SP2. Despite the fact that the
firewall and Anti-virus in Zone Alarm are switched on, SP2 insists on
reporting them as OFF. Anyone else seen this/have a solution???

Zone alarm most likely needs to be updated so it can be able to "talk" to
the security suite in SP2,wait for a new release of zone alarm.I'm sure that
it is working.

Have you checked http://www.zonelabs.com for updates? I use Pro and
downloaded an update a few weeks ago.

I did an upgrade to ZAP a couple weeks ago and installed SP2 via Windows
Update today. SC recognizes ZAP and actually turned XP's firewall off
since MS doesn't recommend double-firewalling. Just in case it helps you
the ZAP version I am using is 5.1.011.000.

However, unless NAV's LiveUpdate isn't up to date on SP2 (hard to believe
it wouldn't be) SC is not recognizing I am running NAV protection. I
suspect Symantec is going to tell me that SC won't work with System Works
2003 and that that is what I need to upgrade next. :) --even though NAV
has been working and updating just fine. Oh well--

You can just run ZA. I have that particular version and it runs as does the
XP firewall at the same time.
