how can i zip a very large group of e-mails and remove
them to a new computer via floppy disk or forwarding the
zipped product to a different computer.

why don't you use Outlook, and export them, creating a PST file. Then zip
(compress) the PST file and take to your new computer?

Does that work on a folder by folder basis or are all messages automatically
included? I will be having a new PC next week and was going to post a
similar question. I have Outlook 2003.

Thanks.
