Zip750 and Win ME

Using Windows ME and Iomega Zip 250 SCSI without problems
for two years plus. Zip broke and so replaced with 750MB
USB and belkin USB 2 hi-speed PCI card. Installed drive
and it works fine when connected wihilst windows is
running. Start or restart with it connected and I get blue
screen ad windows protection error, need to restart.
Restart only works when drive unplugged. updated drivers.
Not card as this happens when plugged into USB1.1 port
too. Any suggestions?

Then why are you posting in a *WINDOWS XP* group - and not in one of the 20+
ME groups you will find in the same place you found this.
 
In case you haven't noticed - this is an "Windows XP" (Home or Pro)
newsgroup.
