How do I open a zip file? ex. a game downloaded off limewire

Right click on the icon and select Extract All...

Or use an app like WinZip or WinRar.

Vista should show the zip file as a folder...so you can browse it.
To extract the contents, right-click on the .zip, and select Extract All
