This error comes up when booting up.

Your SQL Server Installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with
(Could not open SQLEVN70.RLL). Please uninstall then rerun setup to correct
this problem.

Please advise.

That's the thing I didn't install it iin the first place, so I'm not sure how
to uninstall it.

This Solved The Problem For Me

Click on START
Click on Control Panel
Click on Administrative Tools
Click on Services
Right Click on SQLagent$MICROSOFTBCM
Click on Properties
Where is says "Startup Type" change to "Disable"
Click Apply
Re-Boot

This is what worked for me.

Hiii
You are getting an error message because installation of sql server may be damaged and it results in the corrupted mdf files. For this you need sql repair and you can do this with SQL database recovery software. The software provides simple interface so you can easily use it.
