I ran BIOS.EXE downloaded from http://ubcd.sourceforge.net, and, I got the
following message: "Your PC isn't in Real Mode".

What does this message mean ?

Thanks for your advices

Claude

Just what it says. You are running it in a virtual machine (windows). I'm
betting it's a DOS only program. -Dave

Yes, it is. I ran this program in a DOS window.

I guess the man who made this program knows how it works ;-) so, I don't
see the interest to tell this message to me.

thanks

Because you're not supposed to use it in a DOS window and the way it knows
is "hey, this ain't real mode."
