If you're trying to read binaries why not use a true binary reader that
will not only download yenc, but it will join the pieces together into
one piece.
I use newsbin but its a pay program. You can get a demo I think.
Just google for newsreader.
"Brawny Lads" (creators of yproxy, their version) charge for it now. I
know it is still available free somewhere, just cant recall where.
As the last poster said, you could try a better news-reader;; Both
'Xnews' & 'Agent' decode binaries, and its built in, and they are free.
