There is a yellow square flashing in the upper left hand
corner of my monitor. It has a rectagle in the box with
a red line that moves from minus to plus. Any
suggestions on what this is...I can't get rid of it.

Thanks,
bill

Try using your task manager to shut down applications or
processes and see if it goes away. IF it disappears when
you shut down a certain process or app, then you have
probably pegged it. Also, make sure that you know which
processes are system related so you don't end up causing
problems.

Hello Bill,

You may be seeing the same thing as the post above, so lets try the same
thing -

1. Go to Control Panel/Display and click ont he Desktop tab. Now click on
the Customize Desktop button at the bottom.
2. In the Desktop Items window click ont he Web tab. Make sure that
nothing is checked in the white box below. By default you should have one
item listed but not checked called My Current Home Page.
3. If there are more, you can can delete them or simply uncheck them
depending on what you would like.
4. Make sure the Lock desktop items box is not checked.

Let me know if this helps.

Best regards,
