worked for years, then one time i unplugged it and that was the end of that..
I have sp-2 and it inferrs this might happen.
I think i've traqced it to an active x/com invalid program that Internet
explores uses to run the web cam??
But that's all i know?
I can't fix it, I've done everything save uninstall windows???
any ideas out there????

To disable the SP2 warning for running activeX on a local computer page, go to : IE, Tools menu, Options, Advanced Tab, -- scroll
down to the Security area, check the box for, "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"

There is also a radio button to enable 'Unsigned ActiveX" that might do it
IE, tools, options, security tab, "custom Level" button

Thanks for trying Mark, There is no warning! When i go to yahoo messenger nad
click on web cam , it just freezes the comp and i have to restart.. Only
information I could find was in , How to get SP-2 update,List of fixes,in
XP-2. where in the list i found, Device driver is not unloading when you
disconnect a Periepal device..I went to Internet options, manage add
ons,Addons used by Internet Explorer, there is a file for yahoo web cam
uploader referred to as a yuplapp.dll.... it is enabled...
I cannot delete it , and I have reinstall camera and program as directed by
yahoo..
I'm tempted to uninstall sp-2, because i think internet explorer and sp-2
have caused this problem
Remembering it works in msn messenger, and the camera has it's own operating
program for photos and it works also...
Thanks again mark ! Any other ideas???
