yahoo has encounter problem

Hi, I'm running win xp. I just recently install Yahoo messenger and
everytime I launch YIM, this error popup:

Yahoo! Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. [ Send Error
Report ] [ Don't send ]

When I try to uninstall it, that error still popup.

I have try delete the Yahoo folder, and went into the registry and delete
all Yahoo stuffs that I found. Then reinstall YIM again. That still popup

Anyone have any idea ??

go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

and rename file flash.ocx in xflash.ocx

that's all

if it works pls tell me

xflash.ocx,
the crash happens even before starting yahoo messenger, i.e. as soon as
i
start yahoo messenger.

Initially the crash happened after i start and login to yahoo
messenger.

any ideas?

I am unable to use yahoo messenger at all !

I DID THE SAME THING AND IT DIDNT HELP ANY IDEAS
