yahoo email empty ?

dear all,
please let me know why after I read my mails through Windows mail, they
disappear on my yahoo mail site through the browser ?
 
If you are accessing the Yahoo POP server, then you're probably downloading
the messages.

In Windows Mail
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
