XPsp2 prevents emailmerge with Outlook 2003; enhanced security ?

Last week I email-merged hundreds of students their results without effort.
I installed SP2 and tried the same yesterday, but the security pop up that
says, "A program is attempting to send mail on your behalf. Do you want to
allow this?" popsup. The option to "allow for n minutes" does not allow at
all, and each individual mail must be mouse-yessed, after a five second
delay. So, a lot of sitting and clicking.
I'm using Word 2003, extracting data from an Excel 2003 spreadseet, talking
to Outlook 2003 as the mail program; and Windows Update tells me no updates
are outstanding.
Anybody able to verify this as an issue?
Anyone able to come up with a workaround?
Thanks
Patrick

it;s not sp2 doing it - it's been in outlook since June 2002. For more

What format did you choose for the merge result -- HTML, attachment, etc?

Thank you for the reply, Diane.
I'm not sure what you are saying. My issue is that until SP2 I was able to
bulf emerge; after SP2, I wasn't, even though I chose the option "allow..."

If you want to avoid the security prompts, you need to choose HTML as the
format. That's been the case since Outlook 2002 SP2.
