Any clues,

Many computers are coming out without a floppy disk and only a cd rom
drive. that makes a problem when one is used to using the ghost
program which is a valuable transfer tool etc.

How do i make a bootable dos cdrom?
thankyou to all.

if you have a retail copy (and some OEM copies I believe), then the CD is
already bootable.

You need to make the CD on a system that has a floppy drive or you need to
use an image of a floppy that the burning software can read when it makes
it's bootable CD. One problem you will encounter is because the CD is
read-only (even if you use a CD-R/W) error logs can't be written to the
disk. So if the application fails you won't have a log telling you what
happened or you can edit a file on the CD if need be. But other than that
bootable CDs are a treat.

Check here for instructions http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/
You might want to try Bart's PE which you can find here

I wouldn't choose to buy a system without a floppy drive, but if
I had one, I would simply buy and install a floppy drive. They
are only $10-15.
