XPProSP2 and ADSL -router

After installing SP2 any connection to Internet over an
ADSL-router makes my PC absolutely inoperable. In some 5
minutes it suddenly resurrects though, but then again dies.
Firewalls and antivirus software is set to 'disabled'...

Any suggestions?

Adrew,

before SP2 I saw something similar when IEEE 802.1X
authentication was enabled, something you need only for
smartcards.

You can also check http://www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm for some
more information. Perhaps you want to enable an exception for
UPnP.
