Hello all who keep each other moving in this endeavor!

I am having intermittent errors when building to a partition on my
development system.
I do not always get this message. The message is as follows:

"Target designer unable to clear the contents of the destination folder that
you have specified. Please check the permissions on these folders."

I have been reformatting the partition which seems to let me finish the
build. But it is not always the case.

Anyone run into this?

Much appreciated.

Usually it is a hidden system folder "System Volume Information" that causes
this error. It is created automatically by OS in the root of each drive.
Default permissions allow only local system account to acces content of this
folder. This folder contains data saved by System Restore service. If you do
not use System Restore you can turn it off then reboot then delete offending
folder(s).

Hpe this helps,
Al

Or, instead (if you still want to have System Restore working), just build in to a directory (on any available drive) and then
manually copy the image built to the target partition.

Yup, that's how i'm personally prefer to build images.
Still, System Restore can be turned off on per-disk basis... And who may
ever need System Restore on XPe test partition?

Don't know we may need that... but we never know what one may need! :-)
