Using a Windows XPe client connecting to a Windows 2000
Server hosted Network Printer. While we can print just
fine as a user or admin we get unable to connect, access
denied when viewing the queue. Any answers as to why we
get this as we have the premissions to load and as admin
we also have access to manage the printer queue and can
even pause it but the XPe display never refreshes so we
can't resume the printer. Strange but true.

hi tom,

Not strange,When working with Xpe you need to expect these issues :)
..Well comming back to work, btw are you using a thinclient coz if it
is a thinclient then you should be able to see the Queue(again the
maufacturer counts). If it is normal Xpe client, you might need to check
out ,,there might be some Printing files or resources that has not
been included/entered.
I have no idea of the particular resource that is being utilised but
however I guess, you can compare the XP full to track the
resources/registeries accessed and look out in your xpe client if it
is there ..
