I am trying to network an XP64 system and a 98 system together. Anyone
have any ideas on how to do this? both systems are connected to a
router. I have treid but can't seem to get either computer to see the
other.

I have a digital camara that I am able to plug into the new XP64 system
for uploading my pictures onto the harddrive and would like to print
them out but the printer is on the 98SE system.

Hi
Configure manually the Network settings in the Win98 computer.
Configure manually the Network settings in the WinXP computer (Win X64
configuration is similar to WinXP Pro).
Set File sharing on both computers, and enjoy.
The standard network that we use is Ethernet type. Ethernet does not care
too much about the OS, Windows, Apples, Penguins, they cam all talk one to
the other through Ethernet.
Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network
Settings, and Sharing.
