Severe malware problem with the software missing lots of connections, I would
like to reinstall xp but I don't have the disk. Any ideas?

buy one, make sure you get the correct version ie home or pro

install spysweeper and avast! antivirus, run full system scans and
remove any malware found.. what makes you so sure its caused by malware
though?

Unless you can find the disk or your machine came with a hidden restore
partition or you can borrow an XP disk that matches your Certificate of
Authenticity (CoA) ie the exact same version of XP (Retail, OEM, Home,
Professional (the product keys are not interchangable)) then you have
only one option and that is to purchase a new copy of XP.

Try virus clean-up, but if you can spare the few bucks get a copy and go
for a "clean" install. Watch the word wrap on the URL:

Then why not use tinyurl or one of the others to convert to a short link?
