I was typing an email and the a breaker flipped causing
me to lose power. I have been trying to recover the
email and have been unsuccessful up to this point. I
thought XP had a back date that you could go back to and
allow you to recover any unsaved data. is this correct?
 
Windows System Restore will not recover any emails that you created. It
recovers system state files and certain other files that are monitored, but
it will not under any circumstances recover your email files.
