Have you tryed to reformat the HD(if so) just connect key/Mouse--HD and
cd-rom---possible hardware problem or a glitz--oopps

good luck

I do think so. I have a Intel d945pvs board with an Intel 660 processor. I
also have installed a WD 300GB HDD and a Gforce 7800gtxoc

If your computer is only giving you the CD boot option, is your HDD
recognised in the BIOS?.. is your drive regular ATA or SATA?..if a SATA
drive, are you pressing F6 during the first part of the install and loading
SATA drivers from a diskette?.. is the drive jumpered correctly?..

Instaler will go no further than phase one

Are you trying to install on a 64-bit platform?

I have somewhat of a similar problem. Trying to install x64 onto a
Pentium D 820, D945pvs board, 3 gig DDR2, ATI x1300 video, WD 160 gig
Ultra ATA w/ CD ROM and 3 striped SATA Hitachi 80 gig HDD RAID0. Can
get x64 to install on the WD but then sometimes it won't see it and
stops the boot. Also tried to install on the RAID0 and after first x64
reboot to continue install, can't read the array to continue. WD and CD
ROM jumpers are correct, do i need to use the cable that came w/ the WD
or is it something simpler that i'm overlooking. BIOS sees all the HDD
and Intel raid mngr sees the array.
