XP wont install

Whenever I try to install I get the following message "An
unexpected error 335527936) occurred at line 1768 in
d:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\arcdisp.c."
What does this mean and how do I get around it

Hi,

Are you clean installing or upgrading?

Hints: Disable antivirus software, and in particular any bios-level
antivirus schemes. If upgrading, empty temp folders before beginning.
