The All Powerful

Several months ago we had a mini power cut, which shut down win XP. At
the time, this computer had the bradband modem attached to it (through an
NIC card), and acted as a server, sharing the internet conenction to my
other computer.

When I booted back up again, although windows showed all of the network
connections, and claimed that they were all functioning correctly, I could
not access them. The broadband wouldn't work, and windows claimed it
couldn't
see any other computers on the network.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the NIC cards without success.

I have tried renewing IP addresses, and setting static IP addresses with no
success.

I have reinstalled XP Pro over the top of itself with no success

I have installed ME on a seperate partition of the HDD, and it has no
problems accessing the network...

Any ideas other than format and reinstall (have no way of backing up data at
this time)? Computer info:

Pentium 3 1.4ghz
1.12 GB RAM
Windows XP Pro SP1 (updated to latest regularly from website)
2 HDD - 1 40 GB Master with OS, 1 180 GB slave as storage only.
2 NIC cards, both netgear, 1 operating the broadband, one connecting to
netgear Hub

Thanx in advance!

posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.
