is there any way to install windows XP with Vista

I have bought LAP with vista but I need to install windows XP also ..

Please feed back.

yes you can.
second partition or hard drive.
there are several gotchas, like deleting restore points when booting back and forth.

you might be happier running XP as a virtual guest using VPC2007 on vista.
VPC2007 is a free download from ms.

It is only one partition and the second partition for Recovery

Also I tried to Make new partition by Partition magic programs 8 but it seems not compatible with Vista.

Also please explain the point you mentioned like "deleting restore point"

thanks

If you have both Windows XP and Windows Vista installed on your
computer then when you boot into Windows XP it will discover the
System Restore data created by Windows Vista and consider it to be
corrupted and will delete it. http://bertk.mvps.org/html/dualboot.html

Good luck

You need to use a third party partitioning utility such as Partition
Magic or BootItNG to reduce the size of the Windows Vista partition by
whatever amount of space you want to allocate to the Windows XP
partition. When that is done then you can create a new partition for
Windows XP using that space.

Good luck

Create a Bootable diskette or CD from your Partition Magic and use
that to boot the computer. Then you should be able to do the
partition work.

Good luck
