xp will not shut down

any ideas how to make it shut down? it stopped working
after my son downloaded a game on kazaa. i have to unplug
the thing for it to shut down. Ctl-ALT-DEL doesn't even
work.

Well, have you tried to uninstall the game, this might fix the problem of
Windows Xp not shutting down.

The game is probably not all you got from Kazaa. If you
have AV software run a full scan. If not try
Symantec.com. They have an online virus scan. Also, go
to add/remove programs and uninstall whatever game it
was. Most important is stop using Kazaa unless you want
to start a viral colony on your computer.
