XP will not see HD greater than 137GB

I have an HP Pavilion 7955 running XP Home with SP 1 inatalled
Atapi.sys version 5.1.2600.1135
Registry EnableBigLba set to 1
Western Digital 250GB HD
XP shows only 137GB
Award BIOS version 3.11
What am I doing wrong? Any help would be great

That machine is a what - 1.5GHz P4.

Did you install some third party card to allow your machine itself to see
the 250GB? What does your BIOS detect the drive at? If the hardware
doesn't see the 250GB, Windows XP never will.

Hello Roger, I'd say that you motherboard/Bios does not support any drive
over 137GB!!
