Hi,
I have setup a new computer, install Windows XP on it.
I have done about all the Update from Windows Update web
site but when i try to install the remaining (DirectX, Ms
Framework, Drivers update) it is always downloading the
update and then said me that the folowing updates was not
installed.

I don't have any event viewer error message, i am
administrator and i already try to delete my Internet
Explorer Cache and the C:\WUTEMP folder.

Please help me.

This is not a valuable solution... i know that i can
download the full EXE for each patch by searching the Q-
id...

But i could not say to my client that is update will not
work until he downloads it manually...

thanks

-----Original Message-----
Try downloading and installing the full .exe install
files instead of using Win Update.

If you have an internal SUS server running it will not let this run. I have machnies configured locally- GPEDIT.MSC and until I disabled or checked off "not configured" it wouldn't run. This is happening only on XP not W2K
