XP Version

I am attempting to download the Microsoft patch in order
to prevent infection by the worm released this week. I am
not sure which Version of XP I have. I am prompted to
select either 32 bit or 64 bit. Please tell me how to
acsess this information. Thank You.
 
I've read other posts that indicate most home computers
are 32 bit as the 64 bit are for larger systems (i.e.
$7,000).

You've been given answers on how to confirm it in other posts, but
I've heard the saying that, if you have to ask, it's 32 not 64.
Could you confirm please? :-)
