Bobby Again!

Hi. (Revised) I am working on checking and adding to an
Access 98 database. The database is being used in a
Visual Basic application. I am editing the db in Access
2000. I don't know much about technology so i
would need an easy-to-understand answer, if possible.
(The database is divided into five categories.) After I
have added to or edited some entries and then go to the
program itself, the various drop down boxes are supposed
to show the entries in alphabetical order but sometimes
they are not. The names seem to be random at time.

Can anyone help? Thanks, Bobby.
