I upgraded from win 2000 pro to XP pro 2 days ago. at upgrade, I got an error message..."Intel USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller does not pass win logo testing". Installed anyway, and it worked fine for 2 days. Since then, I've had the system shut down (blue screen) about 5 times, message read
Stop OXC0000005, OXF2087AE5, OXEDB698A8, Ox000000000.
Netmotcm.sys address F2087ae5 at F2087000.

The "send microsoft error" message tech screens say
BC Code 1000008
BCP1: c0000005, BCP2: f2db1ae5, bcp3: ebc878a8, bcp4: 0000000

the system will shut down (blue screen) within 5 mins after starting. My cable modem is the only thing attached via USB ports. I noticed that when I detach it, the computer doesn't die.

Anyway, any ideas on how to fix?

It's important to install the WinXP Updates especially SP1.

Go to Device Manager and delete all the USB entries.
Next time you reboot, it should reinstall the driver.
