You need a "retail upgrade version" of Windows XP Professional
in order to upgrade over Windows 2000. If you purchased Windows
XP Home Edition, it cannot upgrade over Windows 2000. It must
be installed "clean" once the drive is reformatted. Also, if you purchased
an "OEM version" of XP Pro, it also must be installed "clean".
