Hi guys,

I tried to install WinXP upgrade on one of my machines and
ran into some problems.

I wanted to do a fresh install, so I booted the machine
from the CD, stuck my old Win98 CD in the drive when it
prompted...it formatted and started copying the files, but
wouldn't reboot. The reboot screen would just hang. I
tried rebooting myself, and the computer wouldn't boot
into the setup (a blank screen would just come up).

I tried booting into safe mode, etc, to no avail. Tried
using a different XP cd. Also tried removing any
unnecessary hardware (sound card and NIC thus far), but I
was able to upgrade two other of the same machine with no
problems so I'm not sure why this one is giving me trouble.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks!
