xp updates

Not a question. Just a statement of fact.

M$ people are getting stupider all the time.

I just downloaded 2 "critical" updates that I have *no* idea what they were.
They were on a dark blue background with black print. I couldn't read them.

Hi Glenn

Search for the KB number on the MS web site. You can then read what the
updates are for.
 
Did you bother to visit the Windows Update web site
and click on "View Installation History"?

funny, all recent updates had normal coloring for me, on several machines.
Perhaps you've modified your browser's default color scheme?

Also, you could have highlighted the text area, and it should have then been
displayed in a contrasting manner.

OK. I looked at "View Installation History" and found them. I still
maintain it would have been nice if I could have read them *before* I
installed them.

It says they are for XP SP2's upgrade. You know, the one that corrected all
the problems. Yeah, sure. [g]
