xp unable to open

Hi Guys,
I am unable to log on with any XP users since I last
updated Windows (the XP SP2) the user starts to 'load
personal settings then hald a second later- 'logging
off' !!!!

Any ideas on how to get in PLEASE....I am stuck on an old
laptop for the time being..

Do you have P4 Prescott CPU?
If so download the latest BIOS update from the motherboard manufacturer and
update it.
This will solve the issue

Mark, I cannot even get to the dos prmpt - The admin
passwrd doesn't now work so I cannot get in via the safe
mode (I believe the problem is caloled a Logon Logoff
loop 'created' by Blazefind......
 
To update the BIOS, use another computer to download it.
Most BIOS updates create a floppy disk that you boot from that updates the
BIOS.
The operating system on the PC is of no consequence to this procedure
